If there’s one thing I’d like you to take away from this post it’s this: YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH.
I started dancing at the age of 3, but gave it up for my A levels, because I didn’t feel good enough.
I stayed in a rubbish relationship for far too long, because I felt like I wasn’t good enough.
I gave up my radio show because I felt like I wasn’t good enough.
My body’s shape and size – not good enough, my qualifications – not good enough and me as a mum – yep, not good enough.
And so on, and so on.
Then, I realised how miserable this belief was making me.
How much it was holding me back and how much I’d suffered from it.
I studied what I could about confidence, self worth and self belief.
I trained to be a Life Coach, Fitness Coach and Nutritional Advisor. I then looked at the spiritual world to take on the tools that helped me and my clients feel good.
So, if you’re feeling like you’re not good enough, it’s time to stop this.
Grab a pen and paper right now and write down ten things you like about yourself. Then write down ten reasons it’s good to be you. And finally, ten things you’ve done that you’re proud of.
Keep this paper close by. Look at it whenever you need a pick-me-up and a reminder how wonderful you are.
You have the power to write your own story and you’re in control of how you feel, so let’s start helping you feel good – just as you are.
